New Guild Site

All right, welcome to the new full-service guild site. We've graduated from just forums into this.

I chose Guildlaunch as the provider because they have an excellent reputation and have incredible customer service that helps resolve any issues almost on the fly, as well as constantly having updates and new features implemented.

To explain a bit of what's going on:

The left column has a shoutbox for quick, short, dirty messages. Think of it almost as a twitter feed for the guild and all of us. It also has a way to apply to the guild (which isn't a real application, just a "sign up to this guild" type deal), our tabard and the server status.

The right column has a window for recent new forum posts (the 5 most recent ones are displayed), a window showing which guild members are online (it only counts those who are officially registered into the guild) and shows our ventrilo status + who is on it.

This middle column is for announcements/news.

If you've signed up to the site, you may as well go through the guild roster and claim your characters (by, uhh, clicking on "claim" beside their name!).

p.s. a quick note on the forums:

If you want to link an item from the game into your post, just use this format: [ item]Item name[ /item] But without the spaces between [ item and [ /item.

Example: [Long Bayonet]

Have a look at the "Warrior - Arms (4.3)" post in the melee dps section, the bottom of it makes heavy use of item links so you can see and appreciate how useful it is in a forum.
