Hey guys. Here's a draft. Please make changes as you see fit, just wanted to get something started. I'd suggest this somewhere easy to access and obvious from the main page. We could include links to registration and applications as well if we'd like.

Guild Guide

The Raging Spears is a social guild first and foremost. Our primary goal is to be a fun, safe place for good people, LBGT and friends/allies of LBGT players in the World of Warcraft.

Respect
We like dirty talk, but not insensitivity. For example, we don’t like the term “gay” used for stupid, we don’t want you to make sexists remarks about our female players and we don’t accept counter-hateful comments made about straights. These types of behaviors don’t follow the spirit of our guild. Teasing and little jabs are fine of course, but please respect if someone says you’ve crossed a line. If this type of behavior become too severe or persists despite warning, it can result in removal from the Spears.

Raiding / Rated Battlegrounds
We do both, but not at the expense of our primary, “no jerk” policy. We accept players for their attitude and personality, not their DPS. Progression is, of course, our desire, but playing with fun, friendly people is our primary focus. If you enjoy casual raiding/RBGs with fun, friendly players we encourage you to check us out.

Age
Our conversations can become adult in nature. By joining the Spears, you are confirming that you are 18+ years old.

Joining the Guild
If you like our guild principles, we’d love to have you join us. To join, you’ll need to create a user account. Then fill out the application page. Upon approval, you can type “/who Raging Spears” in WoW and it will list our members online. Whisper a member to request an invite. They will need to verify that your application is completed and approved before inviting you, so be patient.

Alts
Alts are welcome in the guild. In fact, a few of us are alt addicts. Please put the main character name in the guild notes of your alts to help everyone keep track of who’s who.
